"There is no piece of evidence to conclusively prove the theory of evolution."
More ignorance of the scientific method. There is no such thing as a conclusive scientific "proof"- proofs exist in mathematics but not in science. However, there is an enormous amount of evidence to support the theory of evolution. The fossil record, the homology of animal species, the geographical placement of related species, and various other pieces of evidence are all consistent with evolution theory while being inconsistent with creation theory. If one theory is consistent with the evidence while the other theory is not, the scientific method demands that we pick the former theory.
Scientists cannot agree on the precise details of evolution theory. Raging debate has always surrounded the specifics of the theory, and continues to this day. This proves that the theory is questionable, since not even its proponents can agree on precisely how it works."
Leave it to creationist ignoramuses to interpret the never-ending improvement efforts of scientists as evidence of confusion and chaos. Continual change is the hallmark of science, because science is not dogmatic (unlike many organized religions). Science is always questioning itself, always comparing itself to the evidence, always testing itself. If science is dogmatic by nature, then why do major paradigm shifts occasionally happen almost overnight, such as the collapse of gradualism as an explanation for impact craters following the infamous Shoemaker comet explosions in Jupiter's atmosphere?
If one wants to talk about dogma, why not look at the church? The Catholic Church didn't admit it was wrong about Galileo and the heliocentric solar system until a few decades ago, several centuries after his death. If it took that long to admit they were wrong about the Sun revolving around the Earth, how long will it take to admit they were wrong about Evolution? The Catholic Church is making efforts to change, with the Pope's recent repentance (not apology) for the Church's past crimes against humanity (eg. Crusades, Inquisitions), and a public acknowledgement of the validity of evolution theory. But where they have moved forward, others have moved backward. Many other churches still attack evolution theory, and will apparently continue to do so.
In short, science is in a state of growth, and growth always involves change, ie- improvement. Creationists love to point to various mistakes made by scientists in the past, but who discovered and corrected these mistakes? Who made it possible for creationist laypeople to know that there was ever a problem in the first place, by publicizing the corrections? Yep, that's right- other scientists! The same people who are supposedly embroiled in a global conspiracy to cover up these mistakes.
