Har för mig att det finns ett gratis sätt att skapa pdf-dokument dynamiskt på en hemsida genom ett cgi-script. Någon som vet mer om ämnet?

Japp, det går utmärkt. Kolla in PDFLib.
Följande språk går att använda med PDFLib: (saxat från deras webbsida)
• ActiveX/COM for use with Visual Basic, Active Server Pages, etc.
• ANSI C
• Class wrapper for ANSI C++
• Java (via Java Native Interface, JNI)
• Perl
• Python
• Tcl
Tilläggas kan att det är även möjligt att använda PHP med dess inyggda funktioner (du måste dock fortfarande ha PDFLib installerat på servern).

Ja, om du inte uppfyller vilkoren i deras "Free Public License", men om du inte gör det så har du antagligen råd med 500 dollar.

This license applies to the main PDFlib package, but not to the ActiveX edition or any EBCDIC editions (both of which are only available under the terms of the commercial PDFlib license). • you may develop free software with PDFlib, provided you make your source code available
• you may develop software for your own use with PDFlib as long as you don't sell it
• you may redistribute PDFlib non-commercially
• you may redistribute PDFlib on digital media for a fee if the complete contents of the media are freely redistributable.
Project managers please note: using PDFlib in your commercial projects is not covered by the Aladdin license, and effectively means jeopardizing your project through unlicensed software.
