1045 access denied for 'root'@'localhost'(using password:YES)

Hi!
har precis installerat Apache server and PHP - all fine :)

Har dock STORA problem med SQL5.1 installationen...
The port 3360 is open.

Why cant the security settings be applied?!
1045 access denied for 'root'@'localhost'(using password:YES) - is the error message.
Any suggestions out there??
