Tänkte dela med mig av en grej jag skrev, fast den är på engelska.
Vill gärna höra vad ni tycker om den.
What is it that makes us who we are?
We are who we are because of our past.
Our past is defined by our memories.
Memories tremble, fade and eventually disappear.
But what if we aren't who we are?
What if we were a whole different, unknown person, maybe even created?
What if our memories were fake?What if they tell us lies about our past, about who we are?
Then they would be worthless.
Corrupted, destroyed.
What would you be then?
Would you be a different person?
No.
We wouldn't be who we used to be, but you wouldn't be a new person either.
You can't be.
One can't change to something else if your memories are destroyed.
Our memories are us.
They are who we are.
We can't be anything without memories.
If they are destroyed, we're nothing.
If we aren't anything, we are destroyed.
So.....
What if we aren't who we are?
We are destroyed.
