Tja!
Min flickväns dator är en gammal HP med massa skit inlagt i början som gör att F8-menyn inte går att få fram som vanligt.
Jag måste starta upp datorn i felsäkert läge, men det går ju inte då. Jag kan ta mig ut till DOS-promten och funderar på om det går att starta Windows 98 i felsäkert läge därifrån.
Går det och i så fall, hur gör man?

Men det hjälpte inte att starta i felsäkert läge.
Varje gång jag kommer in i Windows så för jag upp en varningsruta som säger att "Explorer.exe har utfört en förbjuden åtgärd".
Jag har installerat om Windows nu, men det är fortfarande samma grej.
Vad ska jag göra? Finns det något bra sätt?
formatera hela partitionen och lägg in W98 på en helt ren partition.

Jag gjorde som det stod på Microsoft-sidan men nu är det helt kört. Nu hittar Windows inte ens Explorer. Illa! ;)
Jag måste hålla med om att det var en mycket dum KB artikel....dom vill att man renamar den gamla explorern men förklarar inte att man måste extrakta en ny explorer.exe från din W98 skiva
