Printerproblem i RedHat 8.0

Vad kan det vara för fel, när jag skriver ut t.ex. man ls | lpr,
så vissa tecken konstiga, några exempel.

â-ä-'â-ä-'version
output version information and exit

men det korrekta utskriften skall vara denna:

−x list entries by lines instead of by columns

--version
output version information and exit
