linux på en annan hårddisk

Jag har kommit över en liten 4Gbare som jag funderar på att dunka in linux på och ha som alternativ till min win 98 som ligger på en 30Gb hdd.
Kommer detta att funka utan problem?

Jag vill inte ha dom på samma hd just pga att jag bara vill testa det ena.

ehhh... jag är en klant.

Jag installerade så. Men kom på att jag kanske skulle vänta ett tag istället med det hela tills redhat släpper en med den nya kärnan etc.

Så hur avinstallerar jag nu lilo?
installerade den på hda där windows finns *var kanske dumt*

fdisk /MBR tror jag fräser om det hela så att lilo försvinner.. annars kanske lilo -u eller dylikt funkar?
