Hej,
Varför får internet explorer 6.x för sig att spara xxx.gif bilder som xxx.bmp när man väljer "save picture as..." ???
Har de inte råd att betala royaltyn eller :(
Någon som vet?
I mitt nuvarande fall försöker jag spara en gifanimering från min egna site men det fungerar inte pga att den blir .bmp hela tiden. grrr...
Det närmaste jag hittar i MS knowledgebase är detta:

WORKAROUND
You can use any one of three methods to work around this issue.
Workaround for Cause 1
To resolve, delete the temporary internet files by selecting Tools, Options, General tab and select the Delete Files button.

To workaround, uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" from Tools, Options, Advanced Tab. Then select View, Refresh to reload the page.

Method 1
Open the Temporary Internet Files directory and locate the image that you attempted to save.
Right click the image and click Open.
When the image loads into Internet Explorer, right click the image and click Save Picture As. The correct file type and name should be correct.Method 2
Type in the direct path to the image that you wish to save.

You can also save the file in .bmp format, and then use a graphics editor to convert the file to the desired file format.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
Jag vet fortfarande inte vad det beror på, inget av ovanstående passar in på min miljö. Hur som helst, det är verifierat att detta är en bugg så jag ger upp.
Skulle vara lite intressant att veta om det är någon annan som har haft detta problem?
Du har testat att tömma temp. internetfilerna? Jag hade exakt samma problem och det funkade när jag gjort det.
