Hejsan,
något konstigt funkar som det ska, men inte Quake3 som jag vill.
När jag startar Q3 så får felmeddelandet "User Interface is version 3, expected 6".
Jag har nyinstallerat Q3 och patchat upp den till 1.29h_beta.
Vad är fel?

Problem
When I try to play Quake 3 after uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I am getting an error message stating "user interface is version 4, expecting version 3."Solution
This error commonly occurs when the game is installed with no directory specified. For example, if when you install it you choose to install it to a different hard drive or partitiion (D:,E:, etc.), but fail to specify a folder, the game will install everything to the root of the hard drive and the game will not launch.If you want to install the game to a different hard drive, please make sure you specify a folder when choosing the other drive (ie: D:\Quake 3 Arena). There are many other possible reasons that this could happen, but they are all related to a bad installation.
Uninstall the game following the directions outlined below.
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs.
Find Quake 3 Arena in the list of programs, highlight it, then click the Add/Remove button.
Delete the Quake III folder from the hard drive.
Reinstall the game now using the Full install size, try installing it to the default directory to be safe (C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena).Once the game is installed, download the latest Point Release patch and install it as well. You can find the patch at www.quake3world.com. Try to avoid beta patches.
