Även spelprestandan förbättras nämnvärt och ger ett rejält tillskott i 3D Marks 2001. I ett test däremot med Thunderbird har vi fått liknande resultat som med 11.01 och 10.80. Som vanligt kan ni ladda ner 12.00 hos oss på NH. Från Efter att ha läst det blir man ju nyfiken eftersom man själv sitter på en Pentium 4, Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS och Windows ME. Men jag vet inte vilken version jag kan ladda ner och jag vågar inte testa. Om det är någon som vet vad drivrutinen gör och vet vilken version jag kan ha kan väll berätta lite. De olika drivisarna ger olika prestanda, en del ger ökad prestanda på D3D medan andra ger bättre T&L osv. Du får helt enkelt testa dig fram till en drivrutin som är snabb och stabil för just din maskin. NH ligger lite efter i sin updatering, bl.a. så säger de att 12.10 endast finns för w2k, vilket är fel - w9x/Me/NT finns också tillgängliga :) Jag kör själv med 7.76 och är nöjd med den (främst för att den funkar med ett spel som jag betar testar - 10.80, 11.00 och 12.xx funkar inget vidare för just det spelet) Men det viktigaste att komma ihåg är att de är ALPHA och BETA drivisar och används på egen risk (fast risken att hårdvaran skall gå sönder är mycket liten) OJOJ - glömde det viktigaste... en länk som krossar NH:s sida om nvidias drivare \[Redigerat av D3VaST8D den 04 maj 2001\] Permalänk: https://www.webforum.nu/p/370703 ## #3 — lergell, 2001-05-04T19:09Z Vilken tror du attman kan ha till Windows ME? En "personlig" tanke om dessa drivare är att nvidia själva har "releasat" dem för att kunna få lite feedback. Permalänk: https://www.webforum.nu/p/370709 ## #9 — D3VaST8D, 2001-05-05T11:10Z Officiella vad? 12\.00 finns inte "officiellt". ur README: Windows 98 \---------- To prepare for installation of the drivers 1 Start Microsoft Windows 98. 2 Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 3 Double-click Display, and click the Settings tab. 4 Click Advanced, click the Adapter tab, then click Change. 5 Click Next, click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want, then click Next. 6 Select Show all Hardware button, then select the Standard display types from the Manufacturers list. 7 Select Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) from the list, then select Next. 8 Click Next to install the driver, then click Finish. 9 Click Apply, then click Close. 10 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer. To install the drivers 1 Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 2 Double-click Display, and click the Settings tab. 3 Click Advanced, click the Adapter tab, then click Change. 4 Click Next, click Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want, then click Next. 5 Click Have Disk, select or type the path to the folder containing the driver files, then click OK. Windows should find files for your NVIDIA graphics chip. If Windows cannot find the files, check that the path name for the driver files is correct. 6 If Windows found the files, click OK, then click Next. Windows copies the files to the hard disk. 7 Click Finish, click Apply, then click Close. 8 Click Yes when Windows asks if you wish to restart the computer. Uninstall instructions \---------------------- To uninstall the drivers 1 Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 2 Double-click Add/Remove Programs, select NVIDIA Display Properties Extension, then click Add/Remove. 3 You are then asked about being sure if you want to remove the drivers. Click Yes. 4 You are then asked about restarting the system. Click Yes. Control Freak \------------- To access Control Freak, NVIDIA's Control Panel applet 1 Click the Start button, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 2 Double-click Display, and click the tab for your NVIDIA graphics chip. 3 Right click on each option to display information about each setting.
