Du kan ju få ett sånt här mysigt meddelande: "the operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dynamic disk(s). If you convert the disk to dynamic, you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s) (except the current boot volume). Are you sure you want to continue?"
click yes then get
'The attempted operation is invalid. Either the parameters specified are invalid or the operation cannot be completed on the selected object. Refer to the Disk Management help for assistance on the correct use of the attempted operation.
DON'T convert your disk to Dynamic. Leave it as Basic! You only need a Dynamic disk if you are doing fancy things with software-based RAID, and it makes it difficult to get data back if something goes wrong later.

There is no way to "convert" a dynamic disk to a basic disk. You have to back up the data elsewhere and repartition the disk from scratch to recreate it as basic disk.
