wan-lan throughput rt31p2 (har supporten rätt?)

hade nedanstående konversation med helpdesk på linksys. Kan jag tro på henne när hon säger att rtp312 sänder tar emot 100/100 och att detta även gäller wan-lan throughput eller missförstod hon mig/vet inte vad hon pratar om? Stämmer det så är det ju utmärkt eftersom routers vanligen brukar ha svårt att hänga med i höga hastigheter. Någon som testat den på höghastighetslina?

Stefan: hi, i was wondering about the wan-lan throughput on the RT31P2
Vanessa M(15742): It is an autosense port that runs 10/100 mbps
Stefan: ok and that is also true for the throughput between the wan-lan port, so if i have a 10/100 connection i can maximize the use of it

Vanessa M(15742): Although you can't manually set it to either 10 or 100 mbps
Stefan: ok thats good ´cause usually routers aren´t alwasy able to distribute the data to the lan-ports at the speed they can receive on the wan-port. Is it 100 down 10 up or is it the same up and down
Vanessa M(15742): It can go 10/100 upstream/downstream.
Stefan: ok so to conclude, if I hook up my computer to the RT31P2 I will be able to send and receive at speeds up to 100mbps (not counting networkproblems and networkcards cables and so on)
Vanessa M(15742): That's right
Vanessa M(15742): All ethernet ports on the router runs 10/100. So you can send and receive at 100mbps
Stefan: okay, thats sound good, just checking since I have the RT31P2 and is about to upgrade the connection. thks for the help

låter otroligt inte så många som har 100 i throughput.
Många tillverkar skryter nå grymt när dom hasr typ 70-80 i throughput.
så om det inte står på asken som specifikation så skulle jag börja undra.
Men du får väl se när ni uppgraderar.

100 är ju teoretiskt maximum på porten om man säger så.
Går inte att komma upp i det i praktiken. Sen beror det på vad det är för switchfabric i switchdelen i din router också hur bra fruputt det är<--bra stavning va

Ja linksys support var tämligen värdelös, först försökte de med det vanliga

Regarding on your concern we cannot provide you any documentation on the wan-lan throughput of the device because it depends on the connection. For the lan it depends on the speed of the card and the port usually it runs into 10/100 then on the wan connection it depends on the your connection on the internet.

men fick dock svar från Cellip som jag har routern från

Den klarar antagligen ca 3-4000 paket per sekund vilket motsvarar ca 50 Mbps om det bara skulle vara en filöverföring

om det stämmer så är det ju bättre än ingenting men det lär nog bli en gamingrouter liknande d-link dgl-4300 som klarar upp mot 80mbps
