Jag har kommit så långt att det nu är dags att byta ut min slitna SonyEricsson k700i mot en annan... Eftersom det sparats en hel del telefonnummer genom åren och alla inte får plats på sim-kortet så finns en hel del sparade direkt på minnet.
Nu vill jag göra en backup av allt detta så att jag inte förlorar några telefonnummer vid bytet samt vid eventuell förlust av mobil...
Hur ska jag gå tillväga?? Jag har en datorkabel fast med den har jag inte lyckats göra detta utan bara föra över musik och bilder...
laddade ner programmet och skulle testa det men på något sätt så kan jag inte installera kabeln, usb-portarna hittar den och drivrutin har laddats ner från sonyericssons hemsida men på något sätt så verkar inte drivrutinen hittas...
Va ska jag göra?? finns det något annat sätt att installera det hela på??
For a USB cable, you need to install the cable drivers first so that windows XP can recognize the cable and assign a COM port to the cable.
To install the cable simple insert the cable in the USB, when new hardware found wizard shows up and asks for the location of the drivers then give the path of the CD-ROM that came with the Cable. (If u dont have the CD then go to https://www.sonyericsson.com and get the drivers of the cable downloaded and give that path). When windows finish with the installation of the cable restart machine.
To confirm that the Cable is installed successfully go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware (Tab) > Device Manager.
Expand Ports (COM & LPT) [Make sure that the Cable is attached to the USB) You will see a COM(X) having the name of your cable associated (Where X is the number of the COM port i.e. COM3 or COM4.) Note that number of that COM port.
In fma, go to Tool > Options, Under the General tab select the Associated COM port with the cable noted above. Cables tend to be fairly slow, so you may have to experiment with the baudrate. 9,600 is a safe baudrate to test. Once it connects at that speed, test higher speeds. Set RTS to Enabled and DTR to disabled. Sometimes, these settings need to be set to Handshake. Try that if these first settings do not work. Select Phone > Connect in fma to connect your phone. You can also click the Toggle Connect button in the fma toolbar.
Win XP hittar kabeln och rutan "guiden ny maskinvara" kommer upp och allt... har gjort detta x antal ggr med digitalkameror, skrivare osv osv, men med denna kabel så funkar det inte... jag vet att kabeln funkar då jag kört den på den stationära datorn tidigare utan problem...
Är det DCU-11 som du har då?
Har du följt instruktionerna?
1. Download the USB Driver to your PC. Note the download location.
2. Unzip the files, remember where you placed them.
3. Insert the cable to an unused USB port.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen (the 'found new hardware' wizard will guide you through the installation process).
5. If the 'found new hardware wizard' doesn't start automatically, open the program by choosing: start / settings / control panel / add hardware.
6. If needed, tell the installation wizard where you put the files after the unzip.
Jag ser inte varför det inte skulle fungera om dina USB-portar fungerar utan problem, du använder original-hårdvara, följer instruktionerna samt använder drivrutiner avsedda för ändamålet.
Har gjort precis som det står och jag blir inte heller klok på det... allt är original på datorn, t.o.m operativsystemet :P ... det kan väl inte vara så att sonyericsson lagt upp fel fil :s
