Hej!
Jag har köpt en Apple Cinema Display, och undrar hur man ställer in så att man kan stänga luckan på sin dator och ändå ha bild på bildskärmen?

Vad har du för dator?
Har du en bärbar Mac så kan du köra med screen spanning doctor. Med den skall du kunna kringgå det faktum att datorn somnar om locket stängs. Iaf med äldre Macar så är detta ett hack och inget som Apple rekommenderar då vissa modeller andas genom tangentbordet. Är locket stängt så kan datorn bli för varm.
Jag vet inte hur det är med nyare Macar.
detta är en ny mac, och har sett på flera ställen att man kopplat till extern skärm för att få bättre arbetsyta samt jobbar med stängda lock!
Men det borde väl finnas någon form av systeminställning för det, utan att behöva använda yttligare ett program för att fixa det?

You can use your MacBook Pro with the display closed if the computer is connected to
an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Important: To use your MacBook Pro with the display closed, the power adapter must
be plugged into the MacBook Pro and a functioning power outlet.
To operate your computer with an external monitor attached and the display closed:
1 Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to your MacBook Pro.
2 Connect the power adapter to the MacBook Pro and a power outlet. Check that the power adapter light is on.
3 Close the MacBook Pro display to put the computer to sleep.
4 Follow the steps in the previous section to connect your MacBook Pro to an external display.
5 Wait a few seconds and then press any key on the external keyboard to wake the MacBook Pro. "
