# GDR8161B DVD-Rom firmware update

Hej, jag har precis köpt spelet Battlefield 2 till PC.
Oturligt nog så var det på DVD skiva. jag hade ingen DVD läsare så jag slängde i en från min gamla dator.

Den heter "HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8161B" och är tillverkad av LG Electrionics.

När jag kör BF2 DVDn så börjar enheten brumma precis som vanligt. sen efter typ 5-10 sekunder så kommer ett klickande ljud. detta repeteras oändligt.

Min kompis sa att jag måste uppdatera min Firmware.
Jag har ingen aning om vad det e så jag surfade in på <https://www.lge.com> o letade.

Jag hittade en firmware update. nu står det massa grejjer i readme.txt som jag behöver hjälp med.

Vad är "OEM" för något?
Hur ska jag göra om jag vill uppdatera fast jag inte har någon floppy?
(jag har Windows XP Pro SP2)
