Modifications will be necessary if you plan to use these scripts on other plattforms.
MidiCart ASP have a DSN-less ODBC connection, and use Server.MapPath to connect the database midicart.mdb.
How it works:
MidiCart ASP use javascript and ASP, and are designed for use in WinNT/2000 with IIS. All pages built "on the fly" from the Access database. The items is grouped in a main and a secondgroup. When the customer clicks on a maingroup all secondgroups are listed. When he push the secondgroup link, all products is listed in the main window.
Installation:
1. Modify the layout an graphics in shop. If you edit the frames, you must edit the
javascript in middle_left.asp and basket.asp. The frame with the shopping cart script
must be named cart.
2. Modify the setting.asp. Edit the receipt email account. Almost all text in the shop can translate to other languages in setting.asp.
3. Modify the respons.asp. This is the page who the customer get when he submit his order
4. Add items in the database. The field art_no in the database can only have character and numbers 1-9 a-z. The database has been tested with 15000 items.
5. Upload all files to your web server

The shopping cart don't work
Do you have the shop in frames as in the exampelshop?
Is the frame with middle_left.php named cart?
Do you enable javascript in your browser settings?
Do you use art no with character , or .?
Have your http server an ODBC driver for Access?
The orderform don't send any email
Do your server the SMTP modul installed?
Have your server support for CDONTS?
Ask your ISP.
